Established in memory of scenographer Alexandra Constantin, the scholarship is one of the initiatives through which the Romanian Centre of OISTAT, in partnership with various theatres, supports emerging artists at the beginning of their careers while honouring the legacy of an exceptional scenographer.
Alexandra Constantin was a scenographer working in set and costume design, and one of the most promising voices of a new generation in Romanian theatre.
She designed the set and costumes for "Chirița in Concert", directed by Ada Milea at the "Lucian Blaga" National Theater in Cluj-Napoca. In XNUMX, the production received UNITER Awards for Best Production and Best Actress in a Leading Role.
